The Weyburn Peewee Legion boys' hockey team were the A-side champions at the Saskatoon Aces Peewee III tournament on January 14 to 16. A total of 16 teams from across the province participated in the tournament.Game one featured round robin play. Weyburn played the Lloydminster Kinsmen winning 6-4. Cole Hastings was named "Hustler" of the game.Game two was an "A" Quarterfinal Game, where Weyburn played Saskatoon ExplosiveAces winning 10-1. Kyle Martin was named "Hustler" of the game.In the semi-finals, Weyburn played Saskatoon Phantom Flyers winning 4-2. Graham Schmidtwas named "Hustler" of the game.In the "A" final, Weyburn played Saskatoon Renegade Redbulls winning 7-6. Dawson Alexander was named "Hustler" of the game. The Weyburn Peewee Legion team plays in the SEMHL league with teams from Estevan, Radville, Yellow Grass, Bienfait, Stoughton, and Bengough/Coronach.
