WEYBURN – The U17 Weyburn Surge Club volleyball team attended the Oxbow BKVC 2023 Dungeon Cup on the weekend of Feb. 11-12.

They played U16 Club West Smash, U17 SE Vipers Black, U17 Estevan Extreme and U18 Club West Rage in round robin play, and crossed over to play the U17 SE Vipers Green in the quarter finals.

With a win, the club then played the hometown Oxbow Knights in the semi-finals, defeating them.

This put the Weyburn club once again up against the U17 SE Vipers Black in the final, who was the only team they had lost to in round robin play.

Weyburn played well and came home with the gold medal. The next tourney is in Lloydminster on the weekend of March 3-5 at Sask Cup #2.
