The Sr. Boys' Volleyball Team hosted their home tournament this past weekend. They played well, finishing 3rd in the round robin. However, they lost to Arcola in the semi-final game. Manor ended up winning the tournament. Congratulations to all of the GFK players. Thanks to Mr. Birch for running the tournament and coaching all weekend.
Congratulations to the Sr. Girls' Volleyball team on their 1st place finish at the Midale Tournament on the weekend.After losing their first game to Arcola, they went on to defeat Gladmar, Fillmore and Yellow Grass. This put them in the finals against Arcola where the girls put them away in 2 sets, 25 - 21 and 25 - 17.Good luck at upcoming playoffs!

Congratulations to alll of the students involved with the Missoula production last week. The pirate play was cerrrrtainly a grrrrreat one. GFK was very prrrrroud of our actors, Sydney, Brayden, and Ashley.
The annual band concert will be held on Monday, November 24, at 7 pm.
The SLT ran some fun-filled Halloween activities every day at lunch last week. Bobbing for baby parts and pumpkin carving were big hits! The SLT is also doing a Mom's Pantry Fundraiser. Their goal is to raise $6000 for school activities.
The Cosmetology Club continues to meet 2 days a week after school.
The Science Club continues to meet one day a week after school.
Semester 1 / Term 1 Report Cards will be handed out on Friday, November 14th. If you do not receive one, please contact the school. Three Way Conferences (Parent/Teacher Interviews) will be held on Tuesday, November 18th and Wednesday, November 19th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
