听听听听听听听听听听听 RCMP arrested two impaired drivers in the detachment area. Charges were laid in both cases.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Police are also investigating impaired driving offences and other investigations under the Liquor Act, including the report of an intoxicated individual on a highway near Carlyle.

听听听听听听听听听听听 An intoxicated individual in the Carlyle area was driven home by police, while another was found to be breaching conditions.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Assault

听听听听听听听听听听听 RCMP responded to an assault which took place at a residence in the Carlyle area. Charges were laid.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Assistance

听听听听听听听听听听听 The Carlyle detachment assisted several other police agencies-including executing warrants and serving subpoenas and summonses.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Break and enter

听听听听听听听听听听听 RCMP are investigating a break-in at a grain elevator in Redvers. It is belived that young people are entering the elevator, and Carlyle Staff Sgt. Darren Simons says, 鈥淥ur primary concern is the danger to kids who are exploring in the grain elevator. It's very dangerous.鈥�

听听听听听听听听听听听 Members are currently investigating a number of break-ins at cottages in the Carlyle area.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Child Welfare Act

听听听听听听听听听听听 Members responded to incidents concerning the Child Welfare Act.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Disturbing the peace

听听听听听听听听听听听 Carlyle RCMP responded to a fight outside a gas station in Carlyle. When police arrived, the suspects had fled. No arrests were made.

听听听听听听听听听听听 False alarms

听听听听听听听听听听听 Members attended several false alarms throughout the detachment area.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Fraud

听听听听听听听听听听听 Police assisted several members of the public with reports of fraud. Incidents of online fraud included relationship fraud, in which money was involved. 鈥淲e urge people to let is know if they have been a victim of any type of internet fraud,鈥� says Staff Sgt. Darren Simons. 鈥淩elationship fraud affects people from all walks of life. Please don't be embarrassed if you become a victim. Contact the RCMP and we'll do our best to help. These guys are experts at manipulation.鈥�

听听听听听听听听听听听 Theft

听听听听听听听听听听听 Members received a report of money stolen from a trust fund. Staff Sgt. Darren Simons says: 鈥淭he individual involved did the right thing by reporting this to us. Even though this is more of a civil matter, we urge people to monitor their banking activity.鈥�

听听听听听听听听听听听 Property was stolen from unlocked vehicles in a rural location near Carlyle.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Traffic offenses and vehicle collisions

听听听听听听听听听听听 The driver of a vehicle who failed to stop for police is charged with several offences under the Safety Act, as well as unsafe storage of a firearm. RCMP are still investigating.

听听听听听听听听听听听 RCMP responded to several hit and run and non-injury collisions throughout the detachment area.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Police issued several speeding tickets throughout the detachment area, with fines reaching $372.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Members issued a $230 fine to a driver for failing to stop at a posted stop sign, in addition to issuing several warnings to other drivers.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Uttering threats

听听听听听听听听听听听 Police received a report of an individual who was threatened with the probability of a screen shot photo of them being posted online unless they paid cash to prevent this from happening. Staff Sgt. Darren Simons says: 鈥淓ven if you delete a picture or a posting of yourself online, someone can still take a screen shot. Basically, once something's on the internet, it stays on the internet. I urge people to be careful about what they put online.鈥�

听听听听听听听听听听听 RCMP responded to a report from an individual who was concerned for their safety. This investigation is now concluded with no charges laid.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Vandalism

听听听听听听听听听听听 RCMP members are investigating incidents of vandalism involving spray paint within the Town of Carlyle.
