The Carlyle detachment of the RCMP received 64 calls of service from Friday, May 16 to Thursday, May 29. 911A 911 call was received from a rural location but it was found to be a static line.An individual in Redvers dialled 911 by accident.

False Alarm

There was a report of a false alarm at a business in Arcola. It was discovered that it was set off by the air conditioning. In Arcola there was a report of three false alarms at businesses but the causes are unknown.There was a report of a false alarm in Wawota. The cause is unknown.In Carlyle there was a report of a false alarm where the doors at a business were left unlocked. All was normal at the location.

Assistance

The Carlyle detachment provided assistance to the Regina police in executing a warrant to an individual.The detachment assisted the public prosecution out of Regina. A business in the area failed plumbing regulations and was also without a permit.

Mischief

There was report of mischief at a residence in the local area. It was a verbal argument but the individuals left before members arrived.In Kenossee Lake there was report of mischief where a garage was damaged. It was discovered that it was struck by a vehicle.There was a report of mischief in Kisbey where the complainant stated there was possible damage to a John Deere bulldozer. However the owner disconnected the battery and all was normal. There was report of mischief in the local area where individuals were fighting at a residence. No one wanted to lay any charges.Near Arcola there was report of mischief on a farm. Checks were made but the owner laid no charges and just wanted the individuals spoken to.

Fire

On Hwy 9 south of Carlyle there were reports of fire. It was attended to by Alameda Fire Department.There were reports of a grass fire in the local area.There was grass fire near Alida which was attended by the local fire department.Near Arcola there was a grass fire which was attended by the local fire department.In the local area there was garbage fire that led to a grass fire.There was a report of a tractor unit on fire near Arcola. The fire department attended.

Impaired Driving

There was a report of a possible impaired driver in the local area. Checks were made but the vehicle was not located.A 21-year-old was male charged for impaired driving in the local area. There was a report of two possible impaired individuals at a residence in the local area. The owner of the home was able to get them to leave and there were no further problems.

Mental Health

Members assisted in Carlyle with a potential mental health situation where an individual was taken to hospital by EMS.There was a report of an assault with a weapon in the local area but when checks were made it was found to be a mental health issue. The individual was taken to hospital.There was a mental health case where an individual was assisted in Carlyle.There was a report of breach of the peace in the local area involving an individual yelling and screaming. It was found to be a mental health issue.

Traffic Infractions

A 46-year-old female was fined $136 for speeding on Hwy 9 near Carlyle.A 49-year-old-male was charged $132 for speeding.Near Kisbey an 18-year-old male was fined$135 for speeding.On Hwy 9 north of Carlyle a 49-year-old-male was fined $139 for speeding.

Sexual Cases

There was a report of sexual assault in the local area. The matter is under investigation.There was a report of an individual luring minors over the internet in Manor. The case is under investigation.There was a report of sexual interference in which a 67-year-old male in Manor was charged.

Theft

There was a report of theft of a vehicle in the local area. No charges were laid.In Wawota there was a report of a possible theft of a vehicle. The matter is under investigation.There was a report of a possible theft of a trailer occurring in Alida. It was found that repairers were being done but they refused to return the trailer until the bill was paid.

Collison

A collision with a dear occurred at Moose Mountain Provincial Park. A collision occurred at the corner of Hwy 9 and Hwy 13 with scooter. The passenger of the scooter was taken to Arcola and later airlifted by STARS to Regina General Hospital.An accident involving a deer occurred near Antler.A single vehicle rollover occurred near Stoughton.

Other Calls

There were reports of erratic drivers near Arcola and Carlyle. Checks made but the vehicles were not located.There was a report of a suspicious person in Carlyle, members attended but the individual was not located.In the local area there were reports of an attack by dog. The complainant wants the owners to be made aware of the issue.A break and enter occurred in the local area where golf clubs were taken. The matter is under investigation.Members attended GF Kells High School to deal with a driver education talk.An 18-year-old male was charged for breaching his undertaking in Carlyle.There was a report of an abandoned vehicle in the local area. The matter is under investigation. There was a report of an assault in the local area. The matter is under investigation.
