The Carlyle detachment of the RCMP received 67 calls of service between Friday, May 9 and Thursday, May 15. 911 Calls A call was received from Wawota but it was a static and malfunctioning line.

The Carlyle detachment of the RCMP received 67 calls of service between Friday, May 9 and Thursday, May 15.

911 Calls

A call was received from Wawota but it was a static and malfunctioning line. There were similar issues with a call from a business in Redvers.

Assault

There was a report of an assault in Wawota. The matter is under investigation. There was also a case of assault in the local area involving a 45-year-old male who also breeched his release conditions.

Assistance

The Carlyle detachment provided assistance to the Regina police regarding a lost cell phone as well as with a warrant for the arrest of a 15-year-old youth.Assistance was also provided to social services regarding a child custody issue.The detachment also assisted Edmonton police with the issuing of a warrant.Weyburn Police were assisted with executing a warrant on hwy 13 near Carlyle.Assistance was provided with a mental health issue in the local area. While in Arcola there were two mental health cases that required assistance.

Hit and Run

In Redvers a hit and run was reported where a grey 2014 Toyota Camry was damaged.A hit and run also occurred in the local area and a grey 2011 Chevy Avalanche was damaged. In Carlyle a hit and run occurred and a 2003 grey Dodge Dakota was damaged.

False Alarm

A false alarm of unknown cause near Carlyle was reported as well as a report from a business. Checks were made and all was found to be normal.

Fire

Several grass fires were reported during the period, one report was of a grass fire near Benson and another in the Moose Mountain area. There were also four other cases in the local area and also Wauchope. All reports were dealt with by the local fire department. A barrel on fire in Carlyle was reported and the local fire department attended.

Harassment

In Carlyle there was a report of harassment where the complainant was receiving unwanted phone calls. There was also a similar case in the local area, both are under investigation.

Impaired Driving

A 26-year-old male was charged with having open liquor in his vehicle and received a fine of $360.

In Redvers a 33-year-old male was charged for failing to report an accident as soon as possible and also for impaired operation of vehicle.There was a report of two possible impaired drivers in Carlyle. Checks were made but the vehicles were not located.There was a report of a possible impaired driver in Redvers, checks were made but the vehicle was not located.

The detachment received a report of a possible intoxicated driver in the local area. Checks were made but the driver was not located.

IntoxicationA $360 liquor ticket was issued to a 24-year-old female in the local area.An intoxicated individual found on the road in the local area was taken to residence to sober up.

Mischief

In the local area there was reported case of mischief where windows were being broken. The case is under investigation. There was also a case of an intoxicated 25-year -old male yelling and causing a disturbance, he was arrested and will be taken to court. There was a report of mischief near Manor where individuals on quads were riding through the complainant's property. No charges were laid as the owner just wanted them spoken with. In Antler there was also a report of mischief.

Traffic Infractions

A 63-year-old male near Wauchope was fined $212 for speeding while a 47 year-old male in the same area received a $137 fine for the same offense.A 24-year-old male near Arcola received a $188 fine for speeding and a 38-year-old femalenear Carlyle was fined $137.Three seat belt tickets were issued in Carlyle during the period. A 45-year-old female, 43 year-old-male and a 20-year-old-male were all fined $175. An individual near Manor received a 100 fine for failing to wear a helmet.

Theft There was a report of theft of building materials from a camp site. The matter is under investigation. In the local area a theft of a blue four-seater paddle boat occurred. Two youth were arrested and charged for stealing a vehicle in the local area. Theft from a motor vehicle from Kisbey was reported, several books were taken.

Collision

A 21-year-old male was injured during a dirt bike collision south of Redvers on Hwy 9 and he broke his collar bone. A single vehicle collision occurred during the period and involved a school bus where it was blown off the road and drove into a ditch. There were no injuries.

Other Calls

There were reports of erratic driving in Redvers. Checks were made but the vehicle was not located. There was a similar report on hwy 9 north of Carlyle. The owner was located and spoken to.A 33-year-old male was fined $150 for driving without a valid license.On hwy 13 near Carlyle an individual was fined $150 for lying on the highway and disrupting traffic.A package that appeared to contain Cocaine was found in the parking lot in the local area.

In Carlyle a 53-year-old male was charged with making sexually explicit material available to a child and possession of child pornography and also luring minors over the internet. He is set to appear in court.

There was a complaint from Redvers that a female left her child on the sidewalk while she was drinking in a bar. Checks were made and nothing was found.

In Manor there was a report of littering, members attended and the garbage was removed.

In Arcola there was a report of a suspicious vehicle, checks were made but it was not found.

There was a report of a possible break and enter in Carlyle. It was an unfounded complaint.

In Manor there was a case of individual uttering threats. The matter is under investigation.In Carlyle there was a report of a family dispute. It was discovered to be a child custody issue.

In Redvers there was a missing person report . Checks were made and the individual was located.
