RCMP Report

Between Dec. 10 and 13 the RCMP responded to 25 calls. In the morning of Dec. 10 RCMP received a complaint of the theft of a truck in Carlyle. They currently are pursuing leads and the matter remains under investigation.

In the morning of Dec. 10 RCMP received a complaint of the theft of a truck in Carlyle. They currently are pursuing leads and the matter remains under investigation.

Members responded to a false alarm at a Carlyle business. The owner was found to be on site and it was discovered there was a problem with the alarm.

RCMP were notified about a portion of Highway 13 where it was reported vehicles were not slowing down as they passed highway workers. Officers attended and gave out tickets to those who were not slowing to 60 km per hour.

A break and enter was reported to a residence at Kenosee Lake. Members attended and upon investigation it appeared the property was entered, but not by a suspect. Someone else who was supposed to be in the house had entered it. No charges are to be laid.

There was a 911 call from Redvers. There was an emergency, but it was not a police matter. When the officers left everything was fine.

A 911 call was received from one of the hotels in Carlyle. Members attended and located an intoxicated male. Assistance was given and no charges will be laid.

Dec. 11 saw members respond to a collision with a deer near the Parkman area. No one was injured.

There was a complaint of a speeder reported to the RCMP. Members were able to locate the vehicle and a male was charged with a $190 fine.

On Dec. 12 there was a complaint of a theft. Someone reported buying merchandise, which wasn't turned over. This matter remains to be under investigation.

The RCMP were called to a residence in the Carlyle area for a disturbance. An intoxicated person was arrested and held until they were sober to prevent a continuation.

Members responded to another residential disturbance. One subject was escorted from the property and everything was calm after that.

On Dec. 13 members were called to a collision on Highway 9, north of Carlyle. No one was injured and it is suspected weather and road conditions were a factor.

A false alarm at a residence in Redvers went off, there was found to be no crime committed.

A two vehicle minor collision occurred in Carlyle. No one was hurt and charges were not laid.

A complaint in the Forget area regarding traffic was received. In response there will be increased patrols in the area.
