Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the period of July 12 to 19:
*On July 19, police were called to investigate a possible prescription drug forgery, the matter is under investigation.
*On July 15, police attended a complaint of a missing seven-year-old boy in the city. The child was located and returned to his family.
*On July 13, the Weyburn Organized Serious Crime Unit, along with patrol members, executed a search warrant for narcotics in the city. Two charges of possession of a narcotic were laid. No names are being released at this time.
*Police attended to a complaint of theft of money from a local business, the matter is under investigation.
*Police attended and assisted the Weyburn Fire Department with a minor fire in the city.
*On July 12, police attended to a complaint of an assault at a local restaurant in the city. The matter was resolved without further incident.
*Weyburn Police Service members attended to 181 calls for service during this reporting period.
