Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the period of July 25 to August 1:
*On July 31, a vehicle was reported stolen to police. The vehicle was later located on Souris Avenue near 10th Street. No charges have been laid at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
*On July 27, two male youths from Weyburn were charged with mischief after they were caught riffling through vehicles in the Elm Crescent area. Both males will be making court appearances in August.
*In the early morning hours of July 27, two adults were charged with trespassing as they were caught in the Weyburn Leisure Centre's outdoor pool after hours.
*Police were called to River Park Campground on July 25 in regards to property being taken. Officers were able to locate property that had been taken from some campers in the park. Police are asking that anyone with information call the Weyburn Police Service.
*A 16-year-old male from Weyburn will be making a court appearance in August after being charged with drug possession. The accused was pulled over by police for driving through a stop sign. A search of the vehicle turned up three bags of marijuana.
*Police were called for assistance 170 times during this reporting period.
