ESTEVAN - A heat warning is now in effect for the southeast corner of the province, including Estevan and Carlyle.
Environment Canada issued the warning at 3:12 p.m. on Saturday. In the warning, it noted that the daytime high for Saturday was 32 C, and will reach a similar temperature Sunday. Temperatures will moderate Monday.
Extreme heat affects everyone, Environment Canada said.
The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
