听听听听听听听听听听听 Library News: a number of students from Grade 7, 8, and 9 ELA classes participated in voting for the Snow Willow awards this spring. Participants read a minimum of three of the nominated titles, written by Canadian authors and then got to vote on their favorites. We then had a draw for a $25 gift card from Chapters for the participants, and the winner was Allen Jacinto. Congratulations!

听听听听听听听听听听听 Cougar Clothing order forms have been passed out to the students.

听听听听听听听听听听听 The next School Community Council meeting is April 13 in the GFK library. All parents are welcome.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Sr. badminton is under way at GFK. The students are booked into tournaments in Midale, Weyburn, and Oxbow as well as some home and home series with surrounding towns. SHSAA playdowns start at the end of April.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Fitness club is still in full swing with many active students coming out for morning workouts from 7:45 鈥� 8:30 a.m. Any and all students and staff are welcome at any time.

听听听听听听听听听听听 Cosmetology Club continues to meet on Thursdays after school in Mrs. Biberdorf鈥檚 room.听

听听听听听听听听听听听 Gordon F. Kells is having a DECADES DANCE Friday, May 13th from 8:00pm - midnight. Doors open at 7:30pm and tickets will be sold in the weeks prior to the dance. Dress up from your favourite era and get ready to have a blast! More information to follow as the date gets closer.
