Canadian Olympic Medalist Clara Hughes was at GFK last week during her ride across Canada to raise awareness for mental illness. She spoke to the students about the importance of getting rid of the stigma attached to mental illness and the importance of getting help. The students, clad all in blue (the colour of the ride), cheered on Clara as she biked away from the school to continue her journey.
The GFK Graduation Ceremonies were held on the weekend. Congratulations to the Class of 2014. We wish you all the best in the future. We will miss you! Thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible.
