On Wednesday, June 20th2018, Glen Ewen Mixed held their Achievement Day in the Glen Ewen Communiplex.Ìý Guests included Project Leaders, family, friends, and Della Biberdorf – Record Book and Project Judge.
President – Mariah Warriner introduced herself and welcomed everyone. The Pledge was recited, and Oh Canada was sang. The Executive was then introduced – Mariah Warriner (President), Gina Bayliss (Vice-President), Jill Bayliss (Secretary), and Dereck Nordin (Treasurer).
The 4-H members and their Leaders were then introduced.

The member’s entertained the audience with their amazing talents.
Speeches were recited by Mariah Warriner – Viola Desmond and Dominique Doherty – The Greedy Fox.
Songs were sung by: Eli Bartlett – Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, andÌý Jill Bayliss – Part of Your World. A Recorder Piece by Dereck Nordin and Amanda Nordin – Hot Cross Buns. Gina Bayliss danced for the audience.
Morgan Bayliss played a guitar piece – Smoke on the Water.

Della Biberdorf, the Judge of Record Books and Projects, spoke about the work that went into the work that the member’s displayed.
Myrna then gave thanks to the Parents, Members and the Leaders for their commitment to making the 4-H year as great as it was. The Executive and the Members were presented with gifts of appreciation.
Door prizes were handed out, and everyone enjoyed lunch.
