EPS makes arrest on a couple of charges on Monday

Charges for suspended driving, outstanding warrants

The Estevan Police Service made an arrest on Monday.

ESTEVAN - A motorist is facing charges after being stopped by the Estevan Police Service Monday.

Police stopped the vehicle for being unregistered. The driver, a 36-year-old woman from Estevan, was found to be suspended. She also had outstanding warrants for her arrest out of Moose Jaw. She was later released by police to appear in Moose Jaw Provincial Court at a later date.

Investigation throughout the day on Sunday resulted in a 26-year-old Estevan man being arrested for an outstanding warrant regarding multiple curfew breaches. He was lodged in cells pending his court appearance Monday morning.

Members responded to a break and enter around 11th Avenue. The residence appears to have been entered over the weekend and damage was done to the residence. The EPS is asking that anyone who may have seen anything unusual call their office at 306-634-4767 or Crime Stoppers.
