Our Pink Day this year was a huge success once again. The student's all enjoyed joining with the High School students for lunch at GFK, the walk uptown, and some games back at CES. It was a great day for bringing awareness to our schools and community about bullying. We would also like to thank the following people and businesses who either purchased a Pink Day T-shirt or donated money towards the T-Shirts for the students: Home Hardware, The Pearl, The Office Bar & Grill, Andrew Agencies, Carlyle Pharmasave, Carlyle Bakery, Carlyle Food World, Built For Life, Â鶹ÊÓƵern Plains Co-op, RBC, Ron's Work Wear Store, Karen Fischer, Danielle Benjamin, RaeAnne Faber, Joe Bedecs, Mary Moffat, Connie Thomas, Michelle Kyle, CanElson Drilling Inc., & Carson Energy Services Ltd. Your contributions were greatly appreciated!
On Thursday, May 22 we welcomed a group of talented band and choir students from St. Michael's School in Weyburn. We enjoyed the performances by their Jazz Band, Choir and Concert Band.
The CES SRC held another dress up day this month. Thursday, May 29th was Rainbow dress up day, and each class was assigned a certain color so together the classes made up the colors of the rainbow!
Our students have been enjoying the recent nice weather and the opportunity to have some outside Phys Ed classes!
The school website is updated regularly and is a great place to go for information. Go to www.cornerstonesd.ca, click on schools, and select Carlyle Elementary. You will find information on upcoming events along with pictures and news about what has been happening at CES.
