The Carievale 4-H Beef Club held their regular monthly meeting on Oct. 7 at the Carievale Golden Years Centre with 16 members present. Ìý
Kamryn Gilliland called the meeting to order and the 4-H Pledge was recited. The minutes from the September meeting were read by Karissa Elliott. The financial report was presented by Ryan Cowan. Ìý
Old business – Marisol Gilliland, Mya Gilliland, Ryan Cowan, Jordan Cowan and Vanessa Cowan attended Vetavision in Saskatoon on Sept. 28 and reported on their favourite stations.Ìý We joined in with the Glen Ewen Trailblazers for the tour. Ìý
District meeting was Oct. 16 and Teresa Cowan, Mikyla Cliffe, Kamryn Gilliland and Ryan Cowan will be our representatives.Ìý Took down a list of those interested in attending Agribition for team grooming.
New Business -Ìý Nov. 6 is show your 4-H colours day; wear green. We decided that each member will bring a donation for the food bank to our next meeting in support of the 4H Sustainability Initiative – 4H, Food and You.Ìý District Rally will be on Nov. 15 hosted by the Alida Beef Club in Redvers. Ìý
Next meeting will be Monday, Nov. 4Ìý at 7 pm at the Carievale Golden Years Centre.
