I can’t remember any time when music wasn’t a huge part of my life. Although she didn’t read music, I don’t think a day passed when Mom didn’t play the piano. We loved it.

Grace Justus celebrated her 103 rd birthday on Sept. 17 at the Fife Lake Hotel. Born in Assiniboia, she grew up near Killdeer and attended Guilford School (named after the Town of Guilford in Surrey, UK).
