WEYBURN - A special Philly 5 concert will be hosted at the Weyburn Youth Centre on Friday, May 12.
Special guests DJ HU and Darcy Pach will also provide entertainment. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert starts at 7. The cost is $5 per person.
Singer and songwriter Philly 5 continues to break new ground in the hip-hop scene. His passion for music has led him to embark on a professional career that has since seen national exposure and critical acclaim.
Philly has appeared on numerous broadcasts including national talk shows, 100 Huntley Street and Nite Life Live, and has performed for CTV’s morning talk show “Canada AM” during a national fundraising effort for another youth centre.
The concert is an important fundraiser for the Weyburn Youth Centre, to help them provide continued program for youth in Grades 5 to 12 on Friday nights. The Youth Centre has trained adult supervisors at their location, which provides a place where teens can look for opportunities to develop lasting relationships.
