Estevan police called regarding three collisions on Wednesday

The Estevan Police Service was busy on Wednesday.

ESTEVAN - Members of the Estevan Police Service were notified of three collisions on Wednesday.

In one instance, officers were looking to speak to a driver after their car came into contact with a pedestrian in the area of King Street and Bannatyne Avenue. The incident was reported to police several hours later. 

Police are asking the public for further information and for the driver of the vehicle to come forward. The matter is not being investigated as a criminal incident at this time. Officers require further details for the investigation and a collision report.

Police received two other collision reports from the city. One is being looked into as a hit and run, while the other was not reportable to police.

Officers received a report of an erratic driver from the parking lot of the Estevan Comprehensive School. The licence plate on the offending vehicle was provided and the matter remains under investigation.

Police received a Report Impaired Drivers line complaint in relation to a vehicle approaching the city from the west on highway 39. The motorist was located and the driver was not found to be impaired. The vehicle was having mechanical issues and they were trying to get back to Estevan.

Members received a report of criminal harassment. The matter is still under investigation.

Police received a report of an erratic driver on Kensington Avenue. Officers attended and were unable to locate the vehicle described in the complaint.  The matter is still under investigation.
