ESTEVAN - An Estevan man is facing drug-related charges after he was arrested in mid-January.
According to a news release from the Estevan Police Service, a drug trafficking investigation resulted in a search warrant being authorized under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The warrant was executed at a residence in Estevan on Jan. 14. The EPS said investigators seized a quantity of illicit drugs with an estimated street value of $8,000.
As a result of the investigation, 29-year old Rylan Robert Strudwick of Estevan was arrested and has been charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000.
Strudwick was remanded into custody and will make his next court appearance on Jan. 20 in Estevan Provincial Court.
The EPS says its investigators request that anyone with information on drug trafficking contact the Drug Intelligence Unit at 306-634-1522 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 to provide any information they may have.
