Donelda "Donnie" was born in Antler, Saskatchewan on November 30th, 1924, the second daughter of Arthur and Margaret Merrill. Bill and Donnie married on August 17th, 1946.

What do we do now?

Now for the understatement of the week: Phew, it's been a harrowing one. Harrowing is just one way to describe the sudden and violent deaths of two Canadian soldiers. Other words could include, but not be limited to, horrific, shocking and appalling.
