I ran into a friend of mine at the market last week. I hadn't seen her in about six months. She jumped up to give me a hug ... and our tummies collided. Now, understand, it's not unusual for my tummy to collide with things.

On Sunday March 6th the weather was sunny and fair for the Moose Mountain Knights of Columbus Annual Snowmobile Derby held out of Jerry Webers farm shop. Close to 50 riders came out for a great sunday afternoon ride through the country side.

Carlyle Lions Dinner raises over $30,000

The Carlyle and District Lions Club held another successful fundraising dinner and auction, bringing in more than $30,000. Event organizers seemed pleased with how the event turned out, and the 220 ticket holders appeared to enjoy their night out.

Story:The Bantam Cougars entered league play offs facing the Oxbow Jr. Huskies. Game #1 was played on home ice Feb.28th. The Cougars struck first with an early goal from Brayden Starr assisted by Kirkland Chalus and Drake Smith.
