Summer is in the air at Carlyle Elementary Community School. Classes have been able to take in many different field trips this year because of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ East Connection's youth experience program.

Drive for a Cure scheduled for June 18

This year will be the ninth year of Drive for a Cure in Carlyle. The annual event is scheduled for June 18 with an anticipated 24 teams and 96 golfers expected to take over the Carlyle Golf Club.

Memories of back seats past
