Stolen vehicle in Wilkie discovered by RCMP abandoned in Scott, matter still under investigation

A 35-year-old male was charged with failing to comply with probation order during a traffic stop.

Unity Report

RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle in Scott. The vehicle had been stolen from Wilkie. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a complaint of criminal harassment but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

RCMP received a complaint of trespassing on private property in a rural area near Winter. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.

Members are investigating a complaint of theft.

Police conducted a well-being check at the request of a family member.

RCMP received a complaint of assault. The victim declined to proceed.

There were also two traffic complaints and one false alarm.

Wilkie Report

RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle collision on Highway 29 near Wilkie. There were no injuries, and no charges were laid. Reported for insurance purposes.

Police received a report of a stolen vehicle. This matter is still under investigation.

Members attended the sudden death of a 77-year-old Wilkie male. The death was not suspicious in nature.

RCMP received a report of a missing person. The complainant called back to inform members the individual had been located.

Members conducted a well-being check at the request of a family member.

There were also two traffic complaints.

Macklin Report

RCMP received a complaint of an individual damaging a vehicle. The complainant declined to proceed.

Members acted as mediators in a dispute between two adults.

Police received a complaint of theft but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

RCMP received a complaint of dogs running loose in town. The complainant contacted members to state the owner retrieved the animals.

A 35-year-old man from Macklin was charged with fail to comply with probation order during a traffic stop. A traffic ticket was also issued to the vehicle driver.

Police received a noise complaint. Members spoke to the subject of complaint and issued a verbal warning.

RCMP received a complaint of criminal harassment but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Members received a Mental Health Act complaint. The subject of complaint was in the care of a family member who did not require members to attend.

There was also one false alarm.
