Tuesday and Wednesday produced plenty of offence in the five North Saskatchewan River Baseball League games.
Tuesday night, the Kindersley Raiders doubled their win total as they beat Edam 13-9 in Kindersley.
Edam moves into a tie for 11th spot with a 1-5 record. Kindersley holds the ninth spot at 2-4.
In Unity, the Mervin Flyers' offence broke out and took the 18-12 win. The loss was Unity's first, as they sit at 4-1. Mervin holds the eighth spot with a 4-3 mark.
The third game Tuesday had Standard Hill in Lloydminster to take on the Junior Redhawks. The junior team hung on for a 7-6 win and improved to 5-1, which put them in a tie for third spot. The Lakers sit tied for 11th at 1-5.
Wednesday night, the Wilkie Brewers hosted the Meadow Lake White Sox. With wet conditions the entire game, Wilkie came from behind to win 10-8. Bye Braun relieved Brad Frehlich on the mound for the win. Craig Weran suffered Meadow Lake's first loss.
Both Trever Gerwing of Meadow Lake and Rick Cey of Wilkie hit two-run home runs over the left field fence. Cey's produced the winning run in the sixth inning.
Both the Brewers and White Sox are 5-1.
The final game to report on from Wednesday night had the Border City Blue Jays hosting the St. Walburg Reds. The Jays won 11-2 and improved to 5-2 while the Reds are still winless at 0-7.
