Latest matters for Darryll Sollosy came up in North Battleford provincial court.

NORTH BATTLEFORD - A Wilkie man facing numerous weapons related charges has had his matters adjourned to Dec. 14 in provincial court in North Battleford.

That was what came out of the latest court date for Darryll Sollosy in North Battleford on Nov. 30. The indication was that Sollosy will be making an application for a Legal Aid lawyer in the meantime. 

Sollosy was not required to attend this latest court date before Judge Michelle Baldwin. It was also indicated Sollosy was not granted release following a recent section 525 hearing, held to determine whether the accused should be released if a trial has not commenced within 90 days.

Sollosy faces charges including assault with a weapon, careless transportation of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a prohibited weapon without a licence, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, possession of a prohibited firearm in a vehicle, possession of a prohibited firearm that is not registered, possession of break and enter instruments, operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited, failing to keep the peace while on a release order, possession of a firearm while prohibited by release order, possession of ammunition while prohibited by a release order and possession of alcohol while prohibited by a probation order. 

The charges stem from a June incident in Scott, Saskatchewan. No pleas have been entered as of yet, and the charges have yet to be proven in court.
