The matters for Darryll Sollosy were back in provincial court again on Nov. 23.

NORTH BATTLEFORD - The case involving a Wilkie man facing numerous weapons and other charges has been adjourned again by a week.

Matters for Darryll Sollosy has been adjourned to Nov. 30, again in North Battleford provincial court.

Lawyers for the Crown and defence appeared briefly before Judge Dan O'Hanlon on Tuesday in the case, at which time the adjournment was agreed to with waiver of delay.

In his remarks in court Tuesday, Crown prosecutor Chris Browne did express concern about the amount of time it was taking for the case to move forward. One issue noted during courtroom discussions has been that the file for Sollosy has bounced from one lawyer to another.

"This has been dragging on for quite some time," Browne said to Judge O'Hanlon.

Sollosy's attendance was waived at his Nov. 23 court date. His next court appearance on Nov. 30 is scheduled to be by closed circuit TV.

Sollosy faces several charges stemming from an incident June 15 in Scott. His charges include assault with a weapon, careless transportation of a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a prohibited weapon without a licence, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, possession of a prohibited firearm in a vehicle, possession of a prohibited firearm that is not registered, possession of break and enter instruments, operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited, failing to keep the peace while on a release order, possession of a firearm while prohibited by release order, possession of ammunition while prohibited by a release order and possession of alcohol while prohibited by a probation order.

The charges are yet to be proven in a court of law.
