It was in case of just such a day that freelance photojournalist Averil Hall documented the site of the former Saskatchewan Hospital North Battleford while it was stil intact, before it was put up for sale with no takers - the day when it might all come down. Here's a look around the main building and the smokestack, which were targeted for demolition this week. We won't be seeing them in this light again.
