NORTH BATTLEFORD - The City of North Battleford’s smart water meter installation project is experiencing delays as a result of staffing capacity issues within KTI Limited.
According to a release from the city, TI Limited is contracted to perform the installations and they are working on resolving the issue as quickly as possible.
The city is suspending all water shutoffs related to the smart meter installations until further notice to prevent any interruptions in service that may be caused by this delay.
Smart water meter installations are currently being conducted in Zones 2 – 9 and commercial properties on an adjusted schedule. Residents who have booked appointments to install their new meters may receive a call from KTI Limited using a 905 or 604 area code to reschedule their appointments. The city encourages residents who have received notice that they are eligible to book an appointment to continue to book their appointments.
For any questions or concerns regarding the smart meter installation process, residents may contact KTI Limited by phone at 1-833-543-8807 or by email at [email protected].
The city says it apologizes for the inconvenience that this delay may cause for our community and ask for your patience as KTI Limited works to resolve this situation as quickly as possible.
