Insp. Tom Beck is leaving as Officer in Charge of Battlefords RCMP detachment.
He is leaving for a new posting in Whitehorse, the Yukon. Staff-Sgt. Jason Teniuk will take over his role as Officer in Charge. On Wednesday, North Battleford Mayor David Gillan provided a going-away gift to Beck.
"Thank you for your years of service and commitment to the Battlefords," Gillan said to Beck. "We wish you all the best in Whitehorse, Yukon."
