SASKATOON - Fawn Knaggs was hesitant when she looked online to see the draw results for the June 18 LOTTO MAX and EXTRA draw. When she saw that a $250,000-winning ticket was purchased in Saskatoon, she checked her numbers.
“I checked the last three numbers on the EXTRA and they all matched,” she said. “Then I checked the first number, the second… they all matched! I won $250,000!”
"It's really surreal!" she said.
The Saskatoon resident is still dreaming about what she’ll do with her win,but said it will make a nice “nest egg” for retirement.
Knaggs purchased her winning LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket at Luck Store, located at 2901 8th St. East, in Saskatoon. She won her $250,000 EXTRA prize by matching all seven numbers from the June 18 draw – 2686480.
Sask Lotteries is the main fundraiser for more than 12,000 sport, culture and recreation groups in communities across Saskatchewan.
