MAYFAIR — Mark your calendar for a Rose Gill Lodge barbecue supper Monday, July 4 in Rabbit Lake from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be lots to eat besides hamburgers salads and dessert. This is a fundraiser for this seniors’ lodge.

Jolene Strain (Buziak), co- owner of 4 Suns Ag Solutions, hosted a ladies’ evening this past Monday on their farm east of North Battleford. Almost 20 were taken to three different fields to learn more about the different stages of growth among a variety of crops toured. Strain shared her extensive knowledge with the participants. There were many gift bags and draws sponsored by Pioneer, Farm Credit Corporation and Kristi Rousseau, independent dealer with Younique products. Rousseau also owns Farm Fresh Fitness.
