Cathay Wagantall on the campaign trail throughout the Northeast

Campaigns are kicking up with conservative candidate Wagantall visiting Northeast communities

The federal election will be on Monday April 28 to elect a new prime minister.

BJORKDALE – On Wednesday, April 9, conservative candidate, Cathay Wagantall made a campaign stop in Bjorkdale, Saskatchewan, population 202. 

There were approximately 25 attendees at the come and go coffee chat. Locals were able to meet and discuss issues that were important to them. Discussion from locals was on equalization payments, possible redrawing of ridings and tariffs.

Wagantall spoke on the relationship between Canada and the U.S. “We are a strong nation and we need strong leadership. I’ve known Pierre [Poilievre] since he started in politics and he has become a great leader for the conservative party.” 

Wagantall has been making many coffee chat stops all over the Northeast.
