It wasn't quite as busy a year for North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services in 2010, and they are happy about that. Fire fighting activities were down in the city, with 340 calls compared to 415 in 2009.

Less garbage in new rollout bins: report

New numbers provided to city councillors Monday at a Municipal Services Committee meeting are indicating a reduction in the amount of garbage being thrown in the trash in the area where new individual rollout bins are being tested.

Ag. Association elects executive

The Rabbit Lake and District Agricultural Association held its annual meeting Jan.13 with a full slate of directors in attendance. Christine MacDonald chaired the meeting and reviewed the activities of the past year.
