WILKIE AREA - Second update, Nov. 29, 2024, 2:06 p.m.: Unity RCMP are reporting a man has died in a two-vehicle collision near Landis, south of Wilkie.
On Nov. 28 at approximately 2:35 p.m., Unity RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 14 near Landis.
Update, Nov. 29, 2024, 1:34 a.m.: Police advise that Highway 14, south of Wilkie, is now reopened to traffic.
Original post, Nov. 28, 2024, 4:14 p.m.: Wilkie RCMP are on the scene of a collision on Highway 14, approximately 20 kilometres south of Wilkie.
As the investigation is in preliminary stages, police do not have additional details to provide at this time.
Detours are in place, but motorists should expect delays in the area.
People are asked to follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene.
