Battlefords RCMP investigate after shots fired at home on Mosquito FN

BATTLEFORDS – RCMP are investigating after shots were fired at a home on Mosquito First Nation Monday evening.

Battlefords RCMP say that they responded immediately after getting the report at about 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 16. They say that a white Dodge Ram 1500 with multiple occupants pulled up to the home and discharged a firearm, the suspects then fled the area. No physical injuries were reported to police.

One of the suspects is described as male, dressed in all grey, with a heavier build.

Battlefords RCMP is actively investigating this incident with the assistance of Saskatchewan RCMP Forensic Identification Services. Investigators ask that members of the public report any information about this incident, or suspicious activity in the area of the Mosquito First Nation. Contact Battlefords RCMP at 306-446-1720.
