The Preeceville Pats Midget hockey players were acknowledged with awards for their dedication and hard work through the 2019-20 season. The season was cut short and ended with players not being acknowledged due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Sturgis Composite School acknowledged graduates with awards during its graduation ceremony held in the Sturgis Park on August 28. Kristen Peterson and Kelsey Newman handed out the awards to graduates.

Sturgis Composite School acknowledged its Grade 12 graduates in a special graduation ceremony held at the Sturgis Park on August 28.

A Back to School Plan was issued for the Preeceville and Sturgis Composite High Schools by the Good Spirit School Division on August 26 and it can be viewed in detail at the schools’ websites.

The M&M frozen-food company has set up shop at seven Canadian retail chains and c-stores. This included 11 Home Hardware stores across Saskatchewan.

The Town of Preeceville council discussed many topics at the regular council meeting held August 17. Council approved the minutes from the July 22 meeting.

Sherry Joanette and Charlyn Lisoway teamed up and had asked people to purchase a water bottle for $6 from Tupperware to each donate to the kids at Preeceville School and Preeceville Nursery School.
