To help keep the province鈥檚 waterbodies free of zebra and quagga mussels, the Government of Saskatchewan proclaimed May 8 to 14 Aquatic Invasive Species Awareness Week to emphasize the need for diligence when it comes to this critical issue.

On May 11, Health Minister Dustin Duncan confirmed that Saskatchewan will be the first Canadian province to take a provincial approach to an open family presence policy in health care facilities.

Students from the Sturgis Composite High and Elementary schools showcased their scientific projects to fellow students, judges, teachers and family members during the science fair on May 5. Meghan Clancy, the science teacher, organized the fair.
