Family Resource Centre new location
The Family Resource Centre has a new location that encourages participants to feel at home. The centre is located in the Sturgis Elementary School and officially opened to the public in January and hosted a barbeque lunch on June 20.

Sturgis Care Home under new ownership
The Preeceville and Sturgis Care Homes were recently united under one operation when Bev Berger and Art Crozier, Preeceville owners, purchased the Sturgis home on May 1. An open house was held on May 26 to introduce and welcome them to the home.
