The Sturgis Drama Club presented a one-act play of The Complaint Department with Lemonade at the Sturgis Composite School on June 18.

The Saskatchewan Archaeological Caravan stopped in Sturgis to educate and gave a hands-on approach to students at the Sturgis Composite School regarding the fur trade and Metis era. The Sturgis Station House Museum sponsored the caravan.

Theft from Vehicles The Canora/Sturgis RCMP are reminding the public to keep their vehicle doors locked. Around 7 p.m. on June 2, multiple vehicles at Crystal Lake were gone through, and items were stolen from the vehicles.
