Macrorie woman charged with yearlong Co-op store theft

MACRORIE - Police have charged a former employee of a local Co-op store with thefts that allegedly took place over the course of a year.

Twyla LeBlue, 46, of Macrorie, has been accused of stealing from the village's Co-op outlet over a 12-month period before her activities were detected in late 2024.

A charge of Theft Over $5,000 was laid against LeBlue on Monday, December 23 after she was arrested by police on Friday, December 20 in Macrorie. LeBlue was released on an undertaking to attend provincial court in Outlook on January 16.

Sgt. Mark Langager of the Outlook RCMP says the investigation into the misappropriation of funds is still ongoing.
