BRODERICK - A local restaurant's annual Christmas creation found itself on the winning end at this year's Festival of Trees event in Saskatoon.
The yearly event, held at Prairieland Park, brings together creative holiday decorations, trees, and even eye-catching baked goods, and the Terrace Dining Room in Broderick found itself as one of this year's winners.
The centerpiece display created by restaurant owner Veronica Prokopiw and her daughter Terri Anne Gibson was chosen as the People's Choice winner at the popular event, and with the addition of their tree and holiday wreath, the family was able to raise more than $1,000 for the City Hospital Foundation.
