Summer seems to have flew by for most residents in Bredenbury. The month of July was spent bailing water and gutting basements after the flood rains the end of June.

A village 56 km east of Yorkton off No. 10 Highway. The Canadian Northern Railway arrived in Calder October 26, 1909. Calder was incorporated as a village in 1911.

Family and friends gathered at the Calder Good Neighbour Centre to help Gordon Kahut celebrate his 80th birthday. Marie Rohatensky is home after spending the winter months in Calgary and Kelowna with her children and grandchildren.

Irene Badowich accompanied by Debbie Bulitz & family travelled to Winnipeg last weekend to watch her son Frank Badowich curl. He curls on the Team Ontario rink. They were curling in the Canadian Police Curling Association National Championship.
