Edith Kotzer was elected president at the Canora Keen Age Society annual general meeting on April 11. Leo Rakochy was elected the vice-president. Both were elected for two-year terms.

The Buchanan Black Box Players are known for their comedies and this year was no exception, but Animal Farm is a different kind of comedy.

Representatives from the Royal Canadian Legion Number 188, Preeceville branch, presented awards to Preeceville School students for their winning entries in the annual Remembrance Day poster and essay contest.

The residents of the Preeceville LTC have been kept busy with a variety of activities in the month of April. The month kicked off with a series of jokes in the spirit of April Fool's Day.
