Laketown Leaders Annual Meeting is Thursday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m. in the Stirling room. An annual meeting is an open meeting and memberships may be taken out.

Saltcoats and District Community Hall is hosting "Tea with Ruth Gabert" on Sunday, May 15 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with honouring ceremony at 2:30 p.m., there is no admission charge.
Saltcoats Beautification Committee is sponsoring a presentation by Sara Williams, "Monet's Giverny: the Man and the Garden" on Monday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the Saltcoats and District Community Hall. The admission is $5.00. Also on Monday, May 16, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. a Sara Williams presentation "Reducing Pests Without Chemicals." The cost for this is $10.00.
The Town of Saltcoats Summer Landfill hours are: Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
