Saltcoats United Church Fall Supper is Sat., Nov. 19 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the Saltcoats and District Community Hall. Turkey supper and all the trimmings at $12.00 each with 6 years and under free and a family rate of $45.00.
Laketown Leaders Noon Luncheon is Mon., Nov. 21 at the Stirling Room. This is open to all ages and everyone is welcome.
Remembrance Day was observed at Saltcoats Town Hall beginning with a color party, the signing of "O Canada" and the laying of wreaths. Rev. Thom Carnahan conducted the service. A thank you to everyone for attending and donating towards the refreshment time.
The Spirit of Christmas is being held Sun., Dec. 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Saltcoats and District Community Hall. Anyone wishing to decorate a tree for this event is welcome to call Barb at 306-744-2511. There will be a donation basket of free will offering to go to the hall fund. Christmas cookie donations are most welcome for the refreshment time.
Saltcoats Library has tickets ready for the annual Hamper. These are $1.00 each and the hamper has always been generously filled by friends of the library as a regular fundraiser.
Come one and all to the NOON Luncheon on Mon., Nov. 28 at the Stirling Room. This library fundraiser offers home made soup, sandwich and dessert for $6.00 and runs from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m.
The Seniors Christmas Supper is Sat., Dec. 10 in the Stirling Room at 5:30 p.m. with advance tickets at $12.00. There is limited numbers. Call Phyllis at 306-744-2990.
