Saskatchewan Health Authorit​​y is notifying the public that individuals who tested COVID-19 positive were at the following businesses when likely infectious: September 19 : Yorkton Ho​me Hardware, 145 Broadway St. E, Yorkton , from 2 to 3 p.m.

The Saskat​​​chewan Health Authority (SHA) is advising of a cluster of COVID-19 cases in the Yorkton area and has declared an outbreak in the Yorkton Regional Health Centre as of September 27, 2020.

There are 14 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on September 28, bringing the total to 1,892 reported cases. The new cases are located in the Far North West (1), Saskatoon (3), Central East (7) and Regina (3) zones.

On Sept. 27, a front-line officer at the Yorkton RCMP Detachment tested positive for COVID-19. The officer immediately self-isolated as per the direction of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA).

Although much is still dependent on how the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, the Kamsack Players theatre group has decided to begin the process which would result in a production in mid-December.
