The rural municipality of Keys addressed publics concerns regarding plans for construction and new bylaws at its public meeting held on August 30 at the Rainbow Hall in Canora.

The Canora Slo-pitch League held playoffs on August 27 to end the season. Three teams, the Dirty Dancers, Balls and Dolls, and Chives participated. The tournament was set as a round robin competition.
