As the weather turns cooler and the days shorter, soon in Alberta there will be a time change, where for Daylight Savings Time people ‘fall back’ in the fall and ‘spring ahead’ in the spring.

As of the moment I am writing this, I have officially been named one of the thousands of alumni from the University of Regina. My convocation was held on October 21. Honestly, I don`t exactly feel all that different.

Canora Composite School students were among the 12,000 students across the province who, despite being under the voting age, cast ballots for municipal elections as part of the Student Vote program.

The first concert put on by the Canora Arts Council was far from disappointing for both fans and for the council.

The entertainment is always top notch when local musicians entertain members and guests at the PALS jam session and Friday night supper. Elaine Swiderski was the 50/50 winner on October 21 at the PALS building on Front Street.

It is that time of the year when spooks and goblins come out of the closet, or sheds or from dark niches in the basement.

It is not often that people can say they have found a second home across the globe, but a Canora Composite School student believes she can say that now.

The Canora Composite School auditorium will be full of music and fun tonight (October 26) to kick off the Stars for Saskatchewan concert series.
