Producers are now getting into the full swing of in crop spraying for weeds and insect pests.

The west central region had more adequate moisture in the spring and crops are able to have a strong start to its growth cycle.

Crop conditions across the province mostly range from fair to excellent. Most damage this week was from drought stress in localized areas.
